    1940 Buick Roadmaster Coupe:
One of about 3600 built. I've owned this car about 12 years, had it painted to slow down the rust as the original paint was sanded or baked away.  About 95% complete, missing a few trim pieces, taillights, radiator, gas door, nothing you couldn't take off a sedan.  Grille, bumpers, other parts are loose and tucked inside car; I thought photo would be self explanatory but apparently not.  Frame good, some rust issues below trunk, over rear wheels, front floors by A-posts, lower left A-arm spring pocket has rusted through. Motor is probably junk, I expect it's had water inside.  Trans shifts, about a 0 piece by itself depending how it looks inside.  Front rolls, steers, rear still locked up - was hesitant to ruin rear drums to free the wheels up.  Interior appears to be all there, just rough.
Ideal for restoration with a sedan donor or for a hot rod, street rod or custom project.
Car is stored near Syracuse, NY.  I thought I had sold this but buyer no longer returns messages.   I priced it purposely high to encourage offers, I would prefer to negotiate a deal in person.
    SHIPPING IS 100% BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY
Terms of sale: All cars are sold AS-IS. These are old cars and many have rust issues, they can have problems which are not apparent without a more detailed inspection and as such we may not be aware of the issues. Any prospective buyer is welcomed to make an appointment to come inspect a car in person prior to buying.  Nonrefundable deposit of 10% or 0 whichever is greater due within 48 hours (this can be paid via PayPal). Must be paid in full or arrangements made within 14 days. 30 days storage is included to give you plenty of time to arrange to get the vehicle. We're flexible with weather concerns particularly in the winter; storage on paid cars can be arranged in advance for per month, but if a buyer can't be contacted or is unable to make suitable arrangements, per day storage fees will be applied against the amount that's been paid on the car. This is not to be unreasonable, but to prevent being taken advantage of.
How to pay: Payment in person via cash, check, money order. My postman can stand in for you if desired. I do not accept Paypal on items that are not shipped via a trackable method. Any questions, just let me know.
WE ARE NOT A SALVAGE YARD - WE DO NOT PART OUT CARS
