1942 Dodge Gasser Ratrod Truck For Commercial Or Decoration Project Rat Hot Rod

This was a project my kids and I built for decorative use. It’s a 1-1/2 ton 1942 dodge. We cut the frame behind the cab and shortened it about 3 foot rewelding it on top of the frame still attached to the cab to lower the truck. We removed most of the rear springs and welded a Chevelle 10 bolt to the springs. It’s crude but works. The front drums were replaced with mustang drums to get the smaller bolt pattern wheels. The steering works. There is the original 6 cylinder and manual transmission in there but I have put zero effort in attempting to start or even roll it over. The factory seat frame is there but it’s rough. The cab floors rough/large holes. The good stacks are simply welded to the hood. I built it for decoration.
